Between his stunning live performances and evolved DJ sets, Matthew has perked the ears of the industry's best. Both talented and prolific, in the first half of 2003 he released music on both Plus 8 (as False) and Perlon (as Jabberjaw), in addition to his work for Ghostly International, including EP1 and EP2.

His debut album under his birth name, "Leave Luck to Heaven", released in winter 2003-04, is sleek and minimal, containing a pop sensibility and an ambient soul. Preceded by glowing press from around the world, Leave Luck to Heaven is expected to catapult Dear into the ranks of America's elite DJs/producers.
